About the Facilitator

Dina Elsaid is a Dallas-based multidisciplinary artist originally from Cairo, Egypt. Working primarily with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic gouache, her work blends vibrant color with intricate geometric patterns inspired by Islamic design and her Middle Eastern heritage. A self-taught artist with a background in medicine from Cairo University, Dina approaches art as both a meditative practice and a form of storytelling. Through repetition of geometric shapes and layered color, her work explores themes of womanhood, empowerment, healing, and spiritual connection.

Spring Painting workshop April 25, 2026
with Dina Elsaid

About the Facilitator

Shalaka is professionally trained as an architect and urban planner, but her true calling lives in the quieter, more intuitive spaces of yoga, meditation, and reiki. A yoga teacher, meditation practitioner, and an artist at heart, she moves through life with the belief that “we are all here to not just experience life, but live it with a grateful heart and a curious mind,” and that we’re each born to be happy—never losing the childlike wonder within us. Rooted in mindfulness and healing, Shalaka explores art across forms and mediums, drawing constant inspiration from nature and its endlessly unique manifestations. She believes that “every person is blessed with creativity; however it lies dormant unless explored,” and sees facilitation as a bridge—helping others access a deeper connection to their own creative realm. For Shalaka, art often arrives as divine grace in moments of solitude; it sets the soul free, and that freedom is what we seek in every authentic act of creation.

Painting in the Dark Workshop on April 11, 2026
with Chris Yunsheng

About the Facilitator

Chris Yusheng is a self-taught artist based in Allen, Texas, who discovered the power of art therapy. Creating art has become a deeply fulfilling practice for Chris, allowing him to share his unique perspective with others. He experiments with a variety of textures and aromas - coffee beans, dried teas, sand, salt, seashells - to create vibrant, meaningful works. Chris’s approach to painting is tactile and sensory, using his hands as brushes to build up texture and express emotion through color and touch.

About the Workshop

This collaborative workshop invites participants to experience art from a new perspective—by painting blindfolded. Working in pairs, you’ll take turns assisting each other to create art together. Using a 12x12 canvas board, paints, sand, and coffee beans, you’ll learn techniques that Chris uses to paint without sight, including applying paint by hand and building texture. The process emphasizes touch and scent as much as visual impact, resulting in a piece that looks, feels, and smells wonderful. By the end, every participant will have created a unique, sight-free painting.

Watch this video to see what our customer painted at the February art workshop!

"I had such a wonderful time at the February art workshop! We painted a cow, and it was so much fun getting creative with it. I decided to make mine really personal—I wrote “Te amo siempre” above the cow, which means “I love you always.” I also painted a heart with a “J” for my son and another heart with an “M” to represent “Love, Mom.” It turned into a really special piece that reminds me of my family. The workshop was relaxing, creative, and full of great energy. I’m so glad I got to be part of it and can’t wait for the next one!"

Window Painting

2025-2026

Our Artist, Yun Tang, had finished this wonderful Window Painting Service that brings vibrant, eye-catching artwork.

She brought these windows to life through a hand-painted design that transforms glass into a moment of discovery. What was once a blank storefront now invites curiosity, sparks joy, and draws people in—before they ever step inside.

Each window painting is thoughtfully designed to reflect your brand’s personality, whether you’re marking a season, celebrating a special event, or simply creating a more welcoming presence in your community. Using bold colors, clean detail, and high-quality materials, Yun creates artwork that feels both playful and polished, leaving a lasting impression on every passerby.

Because when art lives in the window, it doesn’t just decorate a space—it tells a story, creates connection, and turns everyday foot traffic into meaningful engagement.
