3/23/20261 min read

Dina Elsaid is a Dallas-based multidisciplinary artist originally from Cairo, Egypt. Working primarily with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic gouache, her work blends vibrant color with intricate geometric patterns inspired by Islamic design and her Middle Eastern heritage.

A self-taught artist with a background in medicine from Cairo University, Dina approaches art as both a meditative practice and a form of storytelling. Through repetition of geometric shapes and layered color, her work explores themes of womanhood, empowerment, healing, and spiritual connection.

After moving to the United States in 2012, Dina spent several years in New Orleans where she studied color theory at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts. Now based in Dallas, she is an active member of the Plano Art Association and the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and art fairs across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Dina’s creative process is rooted in mindfulness and exploration. Through her workshops, she hopes to create a welcoming space where participants can experiment with materials, discover new techniques, and reconnect with the joy of creating.
